Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dime Media Inc. d/b/a Dime (“Dime,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit our website at joindime.com, interact with our marketing activities, attend our events, or otherwise engage with us in the ways described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
Dime provides an accounting and ERP platform to business customers. When we process financial records, accounting data, and other information on behalf of our business customers through our platform, we act as a service provider (or “processor”) to those customers. That processing is governed by our agreements with each customer, including our Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum, and is not covered by this Policy. If you have questions about information that Dime processes on behalf of a business customer — for example, if you are an employee, vendor, or customer of a company that uses Dime — please direct those questions to that company.
This Policy also does not apply to information we collect about our employees, job applicants, or contractors.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us. We collect information you give us directly, including:
Contact and professional data, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and mailing address — for example, when you request a demo, contact sales, sign up for updates, or speak with us at an event.
Communications, including the contents of messages you send us through our website, email, chat, or social media.
Account data, if you create login credentials for our platform, such as your name, work email, and role.
Billing data needed to process payments for our Services, such as billing contact and payment method details (processed by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers).
Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:
Device and browser data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and general location (city/state level) inferred from IP address.
Usage data, such as pages viewed, time on page, referring URLs, links clicked, and whether you opened or clicked our emails.
This collection is facilitated by cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 3 below.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from third parties, such as business data providers, marketing and event partners, publicly available sources (including professional networking sites), and referrals from our channel partners, and may combine it with information we collect directly.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and secure the Services;
Respond to your inquiries, demo requests, and support needs;
Communicate with you about the Services, including service announcements and administrative messages;
Send marketing communications about Dime, which you can opt out of at any time (see Section 6);
Analyze and improve our website, marketing, and Services;
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Dime, our customers, and others; and
Create aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you, which we may use and share for any lawful business purpose.
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and web beacons) to operate the website, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. Specifically, we use:
Essential cookies, required for the website to function;
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and how visitors use our website. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners, and you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your settings, though some site features may not function properly if you do.
4. Artificial intelligence
Dime’s platform uses artificial intelligence, including third-party large language models, to power accounting automation features for our business customers. With respect to information covered by this Privacy Policy (website and marketing data), we do not use your personal information to develop, train, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Customer data processed through our platform, including how it is handled by our AI subprocessors, is governed by our customer agreements. Our AI features assist with accounting workflows under the direction and oversight of our business customers, and we do not use automated processing to make decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
5. How we share information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
Service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, analytics, email delivery and sales engagement tools, customer support, payment processing, and CRM providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
Channel and integration partners, where you have requested an introduction, engaged with a joint offering, or directed us to share your information.
Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers, in the course of the services they provide to us.
Authorities and other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
Business transferees, in connection with an actual or prospective corporate transaction such as a financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, including due diligence for such a transaction.
6. Your choices
Marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us at support@joindime.com. You may still receive non-marketing communications, such as messages about your account or our business relationship.
Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings as described in Section 3.
Updating your information. You may request that we update or correct your contact information by emailing us at support@joindime.com.
7. State privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to access a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Note that many state privacy laws apply only to businesses that meet certain revenue or data-volume thresholds, and primarily protect individuals acting in a personal (rather than business-to-business) capacity; your rights may vary accordingly.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@joindime.com with enough detail for us to verify your identity and understand your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny your request, we will explain why, and where applicable law provides, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response.
If we are processing your personal information on behalf of one of our business customers, please direct your request to that customer, and we will support them in responding as required by our agreement with them.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain our business relationship with you, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it from further use.
9. Security
We maintain technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
10. International visitors
Dime is based in the United States and the Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Children’s privacy
The Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian of a child whom you believe has provided us personal information, please contact us directly and we will delete the information to the extent required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act or other applicable law.
12. Third-party sites
Our website may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date above and posting the revised Policy on our website, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect indicates your acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
14. Contact us
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Policy, please contact us by email at support@joindime.com.
